Only in Las Vegas can you find a theme park within a hotel and casino, such as the Adventuredome theme park within Circus Circus. Kids and the old but young at heart will love this mega-attraction with five acres of rides, games, putt putt golf, and free clown shows. With so much fun in one spot, not to mention some of the best roller coasters in Las Vegas, parents may have difficulty prying their children away when its time to leave.
Adventuredome features 25 rides and attractions and is connected to the Circus Circus Hotel via The Promenade. Some of the rides are designed especially for children and families, while the larger, premium rides are what attract visitors from all over. The Premium rides include the Canyon Blaster, Rim Runner, Chaos, Lazer Blast, Inverter, and Disk’O, as well as SpongeBob SquarePants 4-D and the Special FX Theater, which are both a 4-D experience. And because all the attractions are indoors, visitors will never have to miss out on a ride because of rain.
Among the rides, the most notable is perhaps the Canyon Blaster, the world’s largest indoor double-loop, double-corkscrew roller coaster. The Blaster is the Adventuredome’s original attraction and whirls its passengers up and down at a smooth but intense 55 mph. The Rim Runner is also a favorite, a gentle ride on a stream that heads slowly up and then drops down a 60 foot waterfall with very wet results for all.
The Adventuredome also features an arcade, a rock-climbing wall, bungee-jumping, a carnival-style game zone, mini-bowling, and 18 holes of miniature golf. This fantastic theme park, which is also a big bang for your buck, is sure to dismiss any ideas you may have that Las Vegas is not a family-friendly location. After a day at this fun-center, you and your children will be wondering who feels younger.
