The Mountain course at Angel Park is an 18-hole championship course which is beautifully designed for challenging and fun play. The par-71 golf course is almost 7,000 yards from the back tees. The rating/slope for the course is 72.4/128.
In comparison to its sister course, the Palm, Mountain offers fewer forced tee carries and larger greens, as well as shorter par 3’s. The pars 4’s are longer and the pars 5’s are tighter with larger elevation changes. Overall, Mountain is the tougher course. So if you are a beginner, you probably want to choose the Angel Park-Palm instead.
Angel Park is a multi-course facility that offers two championship courses as well as a 12-hole short course and a natural grass putting course. The park also offers a Mediterranean club house complete with a restaurant, pro shop, and banquet facility.
Some more challenging holes include the 425-yard ninth hole. Some holes even feature water from tee to green.
