The par-70 Palm course at Angel Park is an 18-hole championship course with a rating slope of 70.9/129. Although Palm is the shorter of the two championship courses located at Angel Park, this course is challenging and exciting.
Angel Park offers par 3’s that measure 200 yards or more and an eighth hole that has water towards the front of the green and a bunker towards its back. The 459-yard 10th hole is one of the toughest because the green is virtually surrounded by bunkers.
The seventh hole is also very challenging with a tee shot over the desert. There are also fairway bunkers on each side. The backside of the course is longer than the front.
The 11th hole is a great spot to make a birdie and get excited for the rest of the course. The green on this hole is elevated and has a tier running through it. Angel Park Palm is fun to play. The course favors the higher handicap golfer. There are also very few trees that obstruct play. There is also a Mediterranean style clubhouse with a restaurant, banquet facility, and pro shop. Playing a round of golf at Angel Park is fun, challenging, and it’s only 15 minutes away from the Las Vegas Strip.
