Beautifully crafted out of the rugged landscape of the Las Vegas foothills, The Revere Golf Club, also known as The Revere at Anthem, provides golfers a visually stunning and revolutionary game – which is in tune with their Revolutionary War theme. Comprised of two courses, Concord and Lexington, The Revere won’t have you hiding from the British, but it will have you thoroughly enjoying yourself on two excellent, par-72 layouts endowed with gorgeous views of the Las Vegas skyline and surrounding mountains.
The Concord is the newest course at Revere and is marked by wide Bermuda fairways and lush, spacious greens. Designed by PGA Hall of Famer Billy Casper and architect Greg Nash, the course is considered to be friendlier than its sister course, but it still provides ample challenges for players of all skill levels. Those challenges come in the form of several strategically-placed bunkers, more than 1,700 trees, and undulating greens, as well as elevation changes of up to 500 feet – all of which makes for an exciting round of golf.
Among Concord’s notable holes are four short par-5’s and four moderate to long par-3’s, including a 184-yard 5th hole that plays downhill over a shimmering pond. The 508-yard 9th hole also plays with elevation changes with an uphill dogleg bordered by bunkers on the left and right. Players will enjoy making long drives all the way up to the signature par-5 18th hole, appropriately titled “Independence.” Golfers will fight their own small battle on this 520-yarder, which plays over a pond and several bunkers at a gradual slope. Like several holes on Concord, the 18th offers risks and rewards, so players are advised to think carefully and consider the wind direction before making their shot.
Four tees options are available on the Concord so players of multiple skill levels can enjoy the course. Making the course even more enjoyable are its enchanting views; many holes are located at some of the highest points in the valley, allowing for scenic panoramas of the Strip to the north and Mount Charleston to the west.
The Revere Golf Club offers meeting and banquet areas and a 23,000-square-foot clubhouse, which is home to an award-winning golf shop and Buckman’s Grille, a full service restaurant and bar. Players can practice for a memorable round on “The Battlefield,” a practice facility complete with grass putting areas, a pitching/chipping area, and unlimited balls, and they can learn from some of the best professional golf instructors in Las Vegas at the Troon Golf Signature Golf School.
