The par 70 Wildhorse Golf Club is located in Henderson, Nevada and was once a stop on the PGA tour and it’s a favorite among Las Vegas residents. The course offers an exciting round of golf with one of the toughest holes in all of Las Vegas.
Wildhorse’s signature hole, the 9th, is a par 4 with a green that is almost completely surrounded by bunkers and lakes. Completing this hole is very difficult and it requires a lot of precision. So be careful, because this one is very tricky!
The course is also surprisingly affordable with rates as low as $50 during some seasons. The course was originally opened in 1959, but it underwent major reconstruction in 2004. However, the prices were not increased that much so this course is a really great deal.
The course is surrounded by desert, yet trees have been added to create a secluded feeling amongst the vast desert landscape. Wildhorse also offers a full service restaurant that provides catering for special events and banquets. There is also a staff of PGA pros on-site that are available for instruction.
