After Light decided to close its doors on September 3, 2007 many people were upset and asking themselves: “Why fix something that wasn’t broken?” However, those people had no idea that what was about to take the place of Light would be bigger and better than anything they had ever experienced in Las Vegas.
The newest nightclub on the Strip opened its doors on the eve of 2008, as some Las Vegas elite rang in the New Year at the exclusive grand opening event. As guests enter, they see bottles of Cristal champagne stacked to the ceiling. The idea behind the club was to create a nightlife experience that high-rollers are looking to find elsewhere (yet nothing ever seems good enough).
As clubs continue to try to out-do each other, the Light Group has closed Light at the Bellagio and the club underwent a complete renovation with enhanced light, sound, and décor. New VIP booths sit adjacent to the dance floor. The dance floor itself is brilliantly enclosed in glass. The new layout will make every space in the 6, 600 square foot club seem like the most exclusive area of the venue. New lighting fixtures were installed in both the ceiling and the floor to impress dancers with a complete 360 degree light show.
