Now located at Mandalay Bay, the House of Blues has become one of the most famous music venues in the country. With nearly a dozen locations nationwide, House of Blues is a staple when it comes to live music. This trendy rock hall is a small venue with some big sound! Famous musicians such as Stevie Nicks, B.B. King, and Bob Dylan have played at the Las Vegas location.
Once inside the venue, you will find a lower level which, once the crowd gets going, is usually standing room only unless you are seated at one of the VIP tables located towards the front of the stage. There are also seats along the balcony which have a great view of the stage. House of Blues is rustic looking from the outside, to give it a traditional southern feel and associate the guests with it’s roots.
There is also a great eatery attached to the music venue. The House of Blues Restaurant serves up southern style home cooking with a slight Cajun twist. A great place to come on a Sunday morning, the restaurant serves up a world famous Gospel Brunch Buffet which is not to be missed!
Another reason House of Blues is so famous is because the genres of music vary so much from night to night including acts playing reggae, rock, rap, jazz and of course… the blues!
More than just a venue, House of Blues is open seven days a week. There is always something going on, even if no big name artist is on the stage. From karaoke, to DJs, to dance parties…there’s something for everyone.
