The Playboy Club at the Palms really does live up to its name. A must for any bachelor party traveling through Las Vegas, the Playboy Club mixes a posh bachelor-pad themed lounge with several card tables and gaming areas. The club is more than a lavishly decorated tribute to the famous gentlemen’s clubs that preceded it; it is now a swanky place for almost anyone to hang out and have a drink.
There’s no way that you can miss the bunny theme in this club, however the décor isn’t at all cheesy or overdone. The pictures of centerfolds are tastefully displayed in a way that isn’t offensive to a mixed crowd.
You will feel like James Bond as you sip a martini in this lavishly decorated casino/nightclub. Every detail of Playboy Club is extravagantly attended to. Upon entering, the first thing you might notice is the bar. The Diamond Bar is made up of 10,000 diamond shaped crystals that represent all the glitz and glamour that Vegas has to offer. There is also a 60 foot wall covered in plasma screen TVs playing clips from Playboy days past.
But what Playboy Club would be complete without bunnies?! The waitresses and hostesses are, of course, dressed as Playboy bunnies. However, their uniforms have been redesigned for the new millennium by clothing designer, Roberto Cavalli. The bunny logo is also seamlessly woven into every detail of the club. The view of the strip behind a glass wall is obscured by the silhouette of the famed bunny, which in this case displays bottles of liquor behind the bar. Leather sofas and zebra skin high-back chairs give this club a seductive feel. There is also video-poker available for play at the bar.
