Amid Las Vegas’ bevy of super-huge nightclubs and lounges, Wasted Space launched onto the scene declaring itself an “anti-club.” No where else in Las Vegas can you find this club’s combination of authentic rock and roll culture and lavish decadence. At Wasted Space, guests hear the hottest rock in the country while getting up close and personal with music legends in a rebellious and trendy atmosphere. Wasted Space was born out of the mind of action sports star Carey Hart, who wanted a place in Las Vegas where he and his friends could hang out – so he created a place! Partnering with baseball star Jason Giambi and Good Charlotte members Benji and Joel Madden, Hart defined every detail of the club’s rock and roll extravagance. The dark-toned club imparts slick sophistication with dramatic curtains, chandeliers, and leather booths and benches. However, the tattoo-inspired art and rock memorabilia on the walls, along with the edgy-looking rails are pure rock and roll glamour. And as a self-proclaimed anti-club, Wasted Space is devoted to giving guests an upscale nightlife experience without the pulsating dance music or velvet ropes. The 5,000 square-foot club houses a stage for weekly live performances from hot new rock bands, and a 24-hour lounge ensure that the party never stops. Even the drinks are a departure at Wasted Space; the bartenders serve up signature drinks like the Hart Attack (Jameson, Red Bull, cranberry, and Jagermeister) and the Sunday Bloody Sunday (a Bloody Mary named after the legendary U2 song). Bottle service, of course, is also available. Wasted Space attracts a young crowd dressed in edgy/casual rock fashion, but there’s no stringent dress code to get in, unlike other high-end clubs. Club-goers will love the friendly staff, and there’s always a good chance you’ll see a celebrity here; Carey Hart, obviously, is a frequent visitor, as are his friends. What visitors love most about Wasted Space, however, is its atmosphere; it’s intimate and exclusive, but with a backstage concert feel. If you’re looking for something different from the typical Las Vegas nightlife scene, you’ll love the edgy glamour and rock hits of Wasted Space. |
