The Augustus Café at Caesars Palace offers classic café cuisine but with a gourmet twist. Open 24 hours, Augustus Café is one of the best diners on the Strip. The café itself is comfortable and located just off the casino floor. Even though, they are open 24 hours, they serve gourmet meals any time you come. For breakfast you can enjoy some spiced up entrees like carne asada with eggs or peanut butter and banana stuffed French toast. Lunch options include plenty of the usual burgers, salads, sandwiches, and soups. For dinner, guests can enjoy anything from a simple Caesar salad to a filet mignon. Vegas may be one of the few cities in the world where you can eat a perfectly cooked filet mignon at 4 am. The dinner menu consists mostly of home cooked favorites like turkey pot pie, mashed potatoes, and even spaghetti and meatballs.
The décor inside is simple but everything that you would expect from an upscale restaurant. The place looks nothing like a typical diner. Oversized chairs and luxurious white columns give the restaurant more of an elegant dining atmosphere. The restaurant is also a great place to people watch, as it tends to get packed in the early morning hours when it fills up with club goers leaving Pure and looking for a late night snack.
