Chef Laurent Tourondel has done it again, but this time in Las Vegas! His new interpretation of the classic American burger joint has made it to the Mirage Hotel. As a spin off of his original BLT Burger in New York City, that was named “Best Burger Joint 2007” in Time Out New York Magazine’s Reader’s Choice Awards, this restaurant is a great option for those looking for more than just a fast-food burger. There are no signs of fast-food here. The burgers here are cooked to perfection, use the best cuts of meat available, are served on fresh baked buns, and are customized with nearly any topping your heart desires. With a casual attitude and rock n’ roll music playing in the background, the restaurant presents itself much like your typical diner. Using a neutral color palate, red brick, golden upholstery, and wooden details you will be instantly relaxed in the laid back atmosphere, a nice change of pace from the buzzing Vegas Strip.
The burgers here are customized to your liking. With the finest cuts of meat available, you are able to choose from beef, American Kobe beef, lamb, and turkey, with vegetable patties available as well. The burgers are cooked in a circular open grill, so you can watch your burger cooked to the utmost perfection. The burgers are then topped with any cheese, sauce, or topping you can possibly imagine. They have everything from a variety of cheeses, bacon, avocado, and their, house specialty, homemade chili. With your burger make sure to try their sweet potato or waffles fries!
