The Bellagio Hotel and Casino leaves no stone left unturned in their hotel. They have even put a luxury spin on the classic 24 hour café with Café Bellagio. The nicely decorated dining area looks at first like a fine dining restaurant with views of the courtyard and garden area. Tables have comfortable chairs and white table cloths. There is also a bar and a place to sit and drink one of their fresh cappuccino or coffee drinks. The prices at Café Bellagio are about the same as many other cafes in town. However, the food is beyond compare. For breakfast try an Omelet with asparagus and Maine lobster or a stack of homemade buttermilk pancakes.
In the wee hours of the morning, the atmosphere at Café Bellagio can get a little crazy. As the nightclubs let out, hungry part goers wander into the café searching for late night bites and bringing a bit of the party with them. Don’t be surprised if you see a few people still singing and dancing while waiting for their food. Since all meals are served anytime, one person in your party can order a hamburger while another orders French toast. Café Bellagio has a full bar which serves one of the best bloody marys in town. The mix is made from scratch and mixed with peppered vodka and then dressed with veggies. This is a favorite either after the club or in the morning to help cure a hangover.
Another interesting part of this restaurant is the chef. Chef Jeff Henderson is the definition of a rags-to-riches story. He learned to cook while serving a prison sentence and went on to train with some of the top chefs in the country once he was released. He now gives back to the community by helping under privileged Las Vegas learn to cook as an activity to help keep them off the streets. Chef Jeff takes pride in everything that is prepared at Café Bellagio and oversees operations daily.
