The Las Vegas Hilton is rich in history and so is its first Italian restaurant, Casa Nicola (formerly Andiamo). Casa Nicola was one of the first truly authentic Italian restaurants in Las Vegas and it is rumored that it was frequented by celebrities like Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack. Now, with an overabundance of Italian restaurants on the Strip from giants like Wolfgang Puck, Emeril Lagasse, and so many others Casa Nicola stays current by fusing traditional dishes with some lighter and more figure friendly dishes from the Meditteranean. The entire menu is still written in Italian and many ingredients are flown in fresh daily. Rare imported wine, cheeses, and olive oil are just a few of the staples that make this restaurant special.
Traditional dishes include Veal, Chicken, Pasta, and Seafood served almost any way you like. Also, do not forget to save room for desert. Unique pastries and gelato are their specialty. The mascarpone burnt cream is the favorite dessert at Casa Nicola. Another popular feature of the restaurant is their large open kitchen that allows everyone to see the chefs as they prepare the food.
