|Boulud is an award winning chef with the ability to create delicious and award winning authentic French cuisine. His newest restaurant, Daniel Boulud Brasserie is set adjacent to the Lake of Dreams at Wynn Las Vegas.
The Brasserie is revolutionary for this chef because never before has he tried so hard to blend both American and French flavors to create dishes that are both simple and easily accessible for his American audience. Sometimes French cuisine can be intimidating for American’s; however, this is not the case in his restaurant.
The three course prix fixe menu is a great deal at $48. However if you opt to choose from the regular menu, you should try appetizers like the Plateau, which is exactly like it sounds—huge! The Plateau includes 8 oysters, ½ a lobster, 4 shrimp, 4 little neck clams, jumbo lump crabmeat, mussels, tartare, and ceviche. Entrees include superb braised short ribs, or the “Day Boat Cod” covered in olive oil, littleneck clams, brandade, and parsley broth. For dessert try the raspberry-pistachio tarte. No matter what you choose, you can’t miss at Daniel Boulud Brasserie.
