With water, bamboo, tiki-style torches, and bikini-clad waitresses, Hawaiian Tropic Zone creates an inventive tropical experience at the new Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino. This restaurant is completely different from anything on the Strip. Gorgeous waitresses wear Nicole Miller bikinis and strut along the catwalk stage, keeping the upbeat atmosphere for the restaurant. Tropical cocktails and even dessert popsicles make this restaurant a fun place to kick back, relax, and start your day off right.
Many of the themed restaurants on the Strip, offer mediocre “chain” food. However, Hawaiian Tropic Zone is home to world-famous chef David Burke and the food is better than that at many of the fancy (and often overpriced) steakhouses in town. With a plethora of items to choose from, the menu at Hawaiian Tropic Zone is not what you would expect from an establishment served by bikini-clad young women. There are crab cakes, grilled pizza, gourmet sliders, and more. One of the house favorites is the salmon, which is pan-seared and served with an olive tapanade. It is absolutely delicious! For dessert, don’t miss the signature Cheesecake Lollipops served with bubble gum whipped-cream.
Hawaiian Tropic Zone is everything that Vegas represents, great food, fun, and a touch of modern class. With upscale food that is almost unexpected from a tropical-themed funhouse, you will want to stop by this restaurant for a meal or two on your Vegas vacation. |
