If you yearn for the comfort and fun of your hometown sports bar in Las Vegas, look no further than your friendly neighborhood Hooters at the Sunset Station Hotel and Casino. This classic restaurant features your favorite girls serving up your favorite wings, along with a full menu of hearty and satisfying American dishes.
Located on the casino floor next to the Race & Sports Arena, Hooters maintains the “delightfully tacky, yet unrefined” atmosphere for which the brand has become famous. The sports bar and grill has become known for its beautiful servers in tight orange shorts and that famous Hooters tank, and the ladies at Sunset Station’s Hooters are no exception. These Sin City servers are perhaps even lovelier than the servers at other Hooters are – but you’re just interested in the food, right?
Thankfully, Hooters excels in that department as well, with their world famous wings served hot and fresh along with shrimp and oyster roasts, among other tasty dishes. Open for lunch and dinner, the bar and grill serves a wide range of salads, soups, “Hooterstizers,” wings, seafood, burgers, sandwiches, and desserts. For a great starter to your meal, try one of the appetizers, such as the meaty Training Burgers or the Fried Pickles. And though diners don’t generally come to Hooters for their healthy food (see the fried pickles), the Hooters Cobb Salad and Grilled Chicken Salad offer a weight-friendly alternative with fresh veggies and ample slices of chicken.
No visit to Hooters is complete without trying the wings, and Hooters serves up hefty platters of 10, 20, and 50 pieces in your choice of mild, medium, hot, 3 mile island, 911, spicy garlic, and parmesan garlic samurai. Diners can even order your wings unbreaded or “naked style,” or boneless.
If you desire a more traditional entrée, however, Hooters aims to please with its generously portioned sandwiches, burgers, and seafood entrées. The Philly Cheese Steak is a tasty classic, served with onions, green peppers, mushrooms, and provolone cheese. The seafood is also fresh and varied, with options ranging from Steamed Shrimp and Steamed Clams to Snow Crab Legs and Fish and Chips.
Though Hooters won’t win any awards for gourmet dining, this national favorite is comfort food at its best. For a classic American meal in a classic American institution, you can’t go wrong at Hooters at the Sunset Station. |
