Surprisingly, some of the most unique dishes are also some of the most popular at Jasmine. Appetizers include chilled spotted prawns, egg rolls, and Maine lobster dumplings. The Alaskan Giant Clam comes freshly cooked (live from the tank) as a sautéed filet with young chives and silver sprouts. Also cooked live are the Australian Crystal Crab and Maine Lobster. Or try the Sweet and Sour Goby. Goby is a small fish similar to anchovies; they are served crispy with pineapple and onion. If you are not a seafood lover, try the Imperial Peking Duck or the Lemon Chicken. Rose Dew Lamb Chops, Braised ribs, and even traditional sweet and sour pork are perfect for the land lovers. Side dishes include fried rice, tofu, and even a very interesting seafood “pillow." For dessert, enjoy some Americanized options like the vanilla crème brulee and carmelized bananas. If you are looking for something cool and exotic, taste the passion chiboust cream in a lychee fruit sauce. There is also a selection of homemade gelatos to choose from.
