Although most people go to the Orleans for classic Las Vegas fun, there is one more modern restaurant that has a little bit of a trendier vibe than the rest of the hotel. Koji sushi serves delicious and fresh sushi and sashimi creations that are generously portioned. Unlike many popular sushi spots in town, Koji has large rolls that come packed with fish and topped with even more delicious items for an extra combination of flavors. Although Koji creates delicious sushi, they also serve a wide variety of Chinese entrees including many of the American favorite like Gereal Tso’s Chicken and plenty of teriyaki options.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is fun and kids will definitely enjoy it. The dining room looks like it has been submerged in water and portholes show murals of fish and sea creatures. The sushi bar is long as is the perfect spot to come and sit for a quick lunch. It is also fun to watch the chef roll all the great creations. Some house favorites include the Las Vegas Roll which comes packed with crab salmon and other veggies. Another favorite is the Dragon Roll which is topped with large slices of perfectly prepared eel in a sweet and savory sauce. What will surprise you most about Koji are the prices. All the rolls are reasonably priced. It seems that lately in Las Vegas you have to pay an arm and a leg for great sushi. If you are looking for food that is cooked, try anything off the menu from the kitchen. Soups, salads, and plenty of grilled options are cooked to order. If you are looking for a fun atmosphere with friendly service and are willing to travel a little bit out of the way, Koji at the Orleans Hotel offers fresh selections at great prices. |
