What sets Michael Mina apart from the rest is, well, pretty much everything! It isn’t your average fish joint. Michael Mina is one of the premier names in seafood restaurants, especially in Las Vegas and his signature restaurant at the Bellagio is considered one of his best. Traditional seafood dishes are served with a twist by adding a Mediterranean flair with some key spices and ingredients. Also, known for serving everything in his famous “trios” Michael Mina is a perfectionist when it comes to plating and presentation. The James Beard award-winning chef is one of the most celebrated in the industry and he won’t put his name on just anything. The dining room is as inviting as the food. Soft blue accents on a backdrop of natural wood and comfortable high-back chairs make for the ultimate dining experience. A touch of romance is brought to the space with large windows that overlook the beautiful garden area with picturesque fountains flowing calmly as you eat.
Don’t forget about the drinks! Michael Mina offers a lovely selection of wines, mostly from small select vineyards hand picked by the team of sommeliers who are on hand at all times to help with your selections. Appetizers include ceviche trios, trio of sashimi, caviar service, and other seasonal offerings. Second courses include trios like the boneless rack of lamb, Kobe ribeye, and crispy skin black bass. Michael Mina also offers three tasting menus. The first highlights seasonal dishes, the second is a vegetarian tasting menu (extremely rare in Las Vegas), and the third is a tasting menu with dishes taken directly out of Michael Mina’s cookbook. Dishes such as Sea Bass marinated in Japenese miso, a caviar parfait, and a lobster pot pie will tantalize your taste buds by mixing flavors in a comfortable way that is palatable to even the pickiest of eaters.
