The Roundtable Buffet is the extravagantly themed buffet at Excalibur. With an oversized carousel horse greeting you at the head of the table, it’s clear that you’re in for a king-sized feast. There is also a fake sky above that looks like the middle of a sunny afternoon no matter what the time of day. Large candelabras hang above the round buffet. Kids will love this buffet, as well. There are many kid friendly options available such as chicken fingers, hot dogs, and hamburgers. The décor is bright and cheerful with a medieval theme that matches the rest of the hotel. The dining room is large allowing privacy from other tables. Many buffets in Las Vegas offer cafeteria style seating that puts you nearly on top of the party next to you. The amount of food options is almost unbelievable. The salad bar is expansive with many fresh fruit options and all the fixings you could dream of putting on a salad. For dinner you might find shrimp cocktail, prime rib, lobster thermador, or fried chicken; all perfectly prepared. During lunch either make your own salad, sandwich, or enjoy several hot pastas, soups, and other entrees. Carving stations make for delicious sandwiches. Try some fresh sliced turkey as thick or as thin as you’d like it. For dinner, you will be able to try foods from all over the world including Italian, Mexican, and Asian entrees. The best part about the Roundtable Buffet is the price. The prices at this buffet are so reasonable; almost anyone in Vegas can enjoy a decent meal, no matter how much you may have lost in the casino. It’s almost hard to understand how the Roundtable Buffet makes money considering the amount of upscale items like shrimp, clams, and often a high-quality cut of meat that are often found on the menu. All meals at the Excalibur buffet come in at under $20 per person.
