Sea Harbour

1/2

Sea Harbour has closed.  It is now Empress Court, a gourmet restaurant with the best traditional Chinese and Cantonese dishes on the strip.

Even though the theme of Caesars Palace might be Roman, you can find cuisine from all over the globe at the Las Vegas hotel – even Cantonese delicacies. That’s the fare being served at Caesars Palace’s newest fine dining choice, Sea Harbour, a popular chain from mainland China that’s now come to Las Vegas. Within this intimate and beautiful restaurant, guests can enjoy traditional Cantonese dishes such as abalone, shark fin, and sea cucumber, all prepared to perfection by Chinese chefs.

Get ready to let go of everything you know about American-style Chinese food when you dine at Sea Harbour, an experience in authentic Asian cuisine. Master Chef Tony Ho is truly a master of his craft as he serves up unusual but true-to-form Cantonese dishes like Braised Shark’s Fin in brown sauce, Double-boiled Squab Soup with ginseng and herbs, and Pan-fried Goose Liver in abalone sauce. Those with meek tastes may find many of the selections a little intimidating, but everything on the menu is worth trying and tasting. And at the very least, most of the dishes taste much better than they sound.

Abalone (a mollusk) is just one of the interesting offerings, and it’s served in abundance with several different variations like goose feet and jellyfish. Sea cucumber is similarly available, though not every diner will love the marine creature’s texture. Dishes at Sea Harbour are served family-style and meant for sharing, which means the entire table will get to head home and brag about what they tried. Moreover, the servers are polite, friendly, and more than happy to answer questions and make recommendations.

Though most of the options at Sea Harbour are seafood, the restaurant does offer tastes of the land – along with more familiar, less adventurous, but still delicious Asian dishes – like Fried Rice, Sweet and Spicy Boneless Chicken, and Peking Duck, among many others.

With three private dining rooms and an intimate outdoor terrace overlooking the Garden of the Gods, Sea Harbour is a lovely setting for a special occasion, date, or any nighttime meal. The round dining room is colorful and serene with bold decorative accents and bamboo-reminiscent pillars against the walls.
