At T&T, “no two tacos are alike.” The newest restaurant at the Luxor is bringing some heat to the pyramid with Mexican themed cuisine, music, and flavor. Set to open this summer, T&T (Tacos and Tequila) will combine the unique styles of Latin cuisine with a rock star ultra-lounge attitude. With Chef Richard Sandaval behind the wheel, this restaurant promises to drive home the sexy vibe that Las Vegas is famous for. The food will consist of some spicy, flavorful, and updated Mexican dishes like tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and other favorites while drink selections will include a wide variety or rare tequilas and signature margaritas. As the sun goes down, T&T’s El Salon Lounge will provide a nightlife destination that also serves some late night Mexican bites. Bright colors like red, blue, green, and yellow will provide the palate for most of the dining area. Sombreros, dancing skeletons, and bullfighting will be the theme of the restaurant and the lounge.
Guests will also enjoy a frozen daiquiri bar that will instantly cool off customers coming in from the Las Vegas heat. The restaurant and lounge will even contain a clothing boutique selling mostly Mexican and southwest inspired gear. The 8,000 square foot venue can be described as not only high-energy fun but also cutting edge when it comes to design. A spectacular light show with skeleton projections on the floor will take place nightly inside El Salon as the DJ plays rock n’ roll hits of yesterday and today. The centerpiece of El Salon will be the bullfight-themed bar with a large mural painted behind it and bottles of liquor arranged to look like spectators of the fight. T&T will be open for lunch, dinner, and late night. The restaurant will be open daily from 11 am to 11 pm and small bites will be available at the bar until 3 am. |
