Terrace Pointe Cafe

1/1

Guests and visitors to the Wynn Las Vegas can expect everything they find in the Steve Wynn hotel to be beautiful, clean, and luxurious – and even its café is no exception. Terrace Pointe Café provides a sunny and spacious respite from the busy casino and delicious dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Diners can enjoy their meal in the colorful and cozy interior, adorned with upholstered chairs, brocade booths, and lavish draperies, or out on the lovely terrace overlooking the Wynn’s beautiful pool and gardens.

A casual but relaxing dining experience can be had at Terrace Point Café, thanks to a polite and friendly wait staff and a menu full of coast-to-coast American favorites prepared with an imaginative twist. Some of the most popular breakfast items include the Chocolate Banana French Toast, a chocolate brioche served with banana custard and raspberries, and the Maine Lobster Benedict, served with a potato waffle, asparagus, bacon, and poached eggs. Also delicious are the Café’s pancakes, which are wonderfully fluffy and seem to melt in your mouth. They’re even better late at night after a rousing night out on the Strip.

For lunch, a variety of soups, salads, and sandwiches are available. Among them, the Grilled Chicken Cobb Salad is the perfect mid-day dish, light and flavorful with hearts of romaine, double-smoked hickory bacon, tomato, egg, blue cheese, avocado, and sherry dressing. Other fun and tasty selections include Seared Yellowfin Sashimi with soy dipping sauce and the Wynn Burger, a classic made with half a pound of Angus beef and your choice of accoutrements.

At dinnertime, Terrace Point Café offers a variety of meat, seafood, and pasta dishes. One dish to try is the Spaghetti Bolognese, served with generous amounts of meat and a tasty portion of garlic bread. Also recommended is the Penne Pasta with broccoli, oven-dried tomatoes, and pesto cream, which can be ordered with chicken or shrimp. If you’re not in the mood for pasta, the char-grilled Beef Tenderloin won’t disappoint, topped with a Cabernet reduction sauce and served with roasted potatoes.

If you can, save room for dessert; Terrace Point Café has a great selection of sweet, fun treats such as the strawberry-chocolate mousse, banana split, and the cheesecake sampler with three mini-cheesecakes in different flavors.

Diners should note that the fare at Terrace Point isn’t inexpensive by any means – it is inside the Wynn, after all. But most find the expense to be more than worth it and their appetite nicely satiated by the meal’s end.
