Wolfgang Puck brings the bright beach-side feeling of the California coast to Las Vegas with his take on the traditional bar and grill just off the casino floor of the MGM Grand. Patrons can enjoy the bold taste of Wolfgang Puck at a reasonable price in a casual and comfortable café setting. There are even several low-salt and low-fat options available for health-conscious diners. Executive chef Dustin Lewandowski’s ability to put a twist on simple meals and make them into something extraordinary is unmistakable. The dining room is clean and contemporary with modern birch-wood seating and beautiful roses and other natural murals highlighted through light boards.
Appetizers include homemade truffle potato chips with blue cheese and Maine crab cakes with tomato relish and basil aioli. The prime rib burger is covered in Vermont cheddar and smoked onion marmalade. Also try the Ricotta Gnocchi with fennel sausage and a grilled flat iron steak with blue cheese butter. The Fritto Misto is served with calamari, zucchini, shrimp, olives, and served with lemon aioli sauce. Pasta options include veal ravioli with wild mushrooms. Like many Wolfgang restaurants there is an extensive wine list and a large menu of pizzas fired up in a wood oven. Pizzas include garlic chicken pizza and goat cheese and shaved fennel pizza. The wine list consists mostly of wines from California vineyards and the menu items at Wolfgang Puck’s Bar and Grill. Items are just as healthy as they are delicious. All of the pizzas and calzones are loaded with veggies. One of the favorites at this eatery is the mushroom and leak pizza, which is accented with goat cheese and thyme. Wolfgang connoisseurs will want to try the three-course fixed menu which is served with a chef’s choice of salad, entrée, and a homemade dessert. There is something for everyone at this Wolfgang favorite and the prices are outstanding, considering the high-quality of the food.
