Brand new to the Las Vegas Strip, Woo is already getting rave reviews! The owners, the Woo Family, are no strangers to Las Vegas. They already have conquered Vegas with their other flavorful and extremely successful restaurants and Woo is just another restaurant to add to their already impressive resume. Chefs Peter Woo and Ming See Woo have collaborated to create a Pan-Asian restaurant that blends Japanese influences with Californian ingredients. Woo comes out on top with an exceptional contemporary Asian dining experience for all to enjoy. The exterior of the restaurant sets the tone for the meal that awaits you inside. The exterior is clean cut with smooth round edges and uses dark woods with yellow and white accents. The interior provides great ambiance and an intimate dining area.
The food and service at Woo will wow you! The dining experience here really begins from the second you arrive. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and receptive to your dining needs. If you ever have a question about something on the menu, they are sure to know the answer. Most of the dishes here are served tapas style, so they are perfect for sharing! For starters, their appetizer menu is phenomenal and really sets the pace for the rest of the meal. We highly recommend the yellowtail sashimi with cerrano and sea scallops with yuzu. All of the sashimi’s are flavorful and will leave you wanting more. For dinner there are a plethora of items to choose from, everything from tempura calamari to grilled salmon. Some of their top items include the Asian King Crab with orange-jicama salsa, the tenderloin of beef with ginger shao hing wine, and the Maine lobster with forbidden and Bhutanese rice. For dessert, there are unique items to choose from, one of our favorites being the fresh fruit served in a ginger consommé. If you love the other restaurants by the Woo Family, you will love this restaurant! Woo is a great dining choice! |
