Some of Las Vegas’ most authentic noodles and dim sum can be had at Zine Noodles Dim Sum at the Palazzo Resort. Acclaimed chef Simon To combines authentic, traditional Asian dishes with contemporary touches in this comfortable Las Vegas favorite.
Featuring items from Cantonese, Taiwanese, Vietnamese, and Szechuan cuisine, Zine Noodles Dim Sum serves up plenty of dishes for both the casual and adventurous diner. The expansive menu features appetizers, barbecued and roasted entrees, soup with noodles and without, Vietnamese noodles, congee (rice porridge), fried noodles, clay pot dishes, rice, dessert, and chef’s specials. Some favorites include the Abalone and Chicken Congee, the Singapore-Style Pan-Fried Crab, and the Honey Glazed Short Ribs in Black Pepper Sauce.
Zine recognizes that some of their American or European diners may want to start with something “safe” for their first experience at the restaurant. And so, dishes such as the Rare Filet Mignon Soup and Steamed Lobster in Garlic Sauce provide close to home alternatives. For those who opt for a “try anything once” approach, the Marinated Jelly Fish appetizers, Macau-style Roasted Pork, and the Double-Boiled Black Chicken Soup with Sea Snail all provide adventurous options. The Macau-style Roasted Pork, a crispy roasted pork belly, is particularly tasty.
If some of the dishes have you a little confused or wary, feel free to ask your server what he or she thinks. Service at Zine is top-notch, and the staff is happy to review the menu with diners and answer any questions about dishes.
To reflect its contemporary pan-Asian menu, Zine is adorned in a minimalistic, modern theme. Warm sandy tones and clean lines suggest Asian décor, while modern furniture and a checkerboard floor refer to contemporary design. This combination of styles continues in the hanging light fixtures, which echo Chinese lanterns, while Asian vases add a touch of exotic flair. For solo diners, pristine bar with a plasma TV is located at the end of the restaurant.
For a culinary journey through Asia, Zine Noodles Dim Sum offers classic and exotic feasts. Portions are generous, but you’ll want to keep dishes all to yourself at this delicious Asian eatery. |
