A new show is joining The Venetian’s incredible lineup of hits like Jersey Boys and Blue Man Group. Coming to you straight from New York and The Great White Way, Academy Award-nominated actor Chazz Palminteri brings his one-man show, A Bronx Tale, to The Venetian Showroom this October to close out a critically acclaimed 18-city run in Sin City. A Bronx Tale is the heartfelt story of a young boy having to face the trials and tribulations of growing up in The Bronx during the 1960’s. Calogero Anello, the main character, struggles to stay on the right path and keep away from the dangerous allure of a life in organized crime. Directed by four-time Tony Award-winner Jerry Zaks and produced by GO Productions, LLC, a Las Vegas-based production company, A Bronx Tale has been described as “a rejuvenating act of faith in the powers of acting and storytelling” by The New York Times. Palminteri brings this story to life through the eyes of 18 characters all struggling to survive in the city. A Bronx Tale began in 1989 as an off-Broadway play which Hollywood took and re-imagined into the famous film starring Al Pacino. This is the first time A Bronx Tale will be playing in Las Vegas and audiences are expecting to see Palminteri end the show’s run with his finest performance yet. A Bronx Tale is a must-see for fans of the movie and of Chazz Palminteri’s acting career. Of course, if stories about the mob are your thing this show is a great way to spend a night in Sin City. Considering The Venetian is also modeled after the canals of Venice, Italy, it’s the perfect place to feature this one-man play. A Bronx Tale, which was inspired by events from Chazz Palminteri’s childhood, will be playing October 7th - October 18th at The Venetian Show Room. |
