Daniel Tosh

Raised in Titusville, Florida, Tosh attributes his decision to work in comedy to having been raised in the Sunshine State, which he considers, “flat, hot and dumb.” Tosh began his career with a 2001 performance on the Late Show with David Letterman. Following his successful debut on late night television, Tosh went on to spread his comedic chops on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel Live! And Comedy Central’s Premium Blend. Becoming a regular to late-night, Tosh hosted his own late-night comedy show in Florida called Ten and served as a spokesperson in Taco Bell commercials. As Tosh’s career quickly took flight, Comedy Central noticed his talents and in 2003 gave him a 30-minute special and in 2007 they aired his stand-up special: Daniel Tosh: Completely Serious. Then on June 5, 2009, Comedy Central gave Tosh his very own TV show, Tosh.0.

In Tosh.0, Tosh uses sarcastic commentary on various online video clips, society, celebrities and several other parts of pop culture. Within ten weeks of its premiere, Tosh.0 became the second most watched cable network show in its time slot among 18-34 year old males. Due to Tosh’s genius mix of sarcasm, comedy, and pop culture, Comedy Central extended the first season from 10 episodes to 16. On April 8, 2010, Comedy Central announced they’ve renewed the show for a third season, which will debut on January 12, 2011.

And now, Las Vegas guests can see Daniel Tosh live at the Mirage Hotel and Casino. The Mirage is home to a host of hilarious headliners including Jay Leno, Ray Romano, Ron White, Ray Romano and Kevin James, Lewis Black and so many more! Known for its nightly entertainment, the Mirage is also well versed in fine dining and exotic nightlife. Before you begin the nights laughs why not dine at the new American Bistro, Stack where a cutting-edge environment and unique cuisine will make your dinner date all the more delicious. And for an after dinner drink; visit The Beatles REVOLUTION LOUNGE where you’ll experience a psychedelic sensory environment and a contemporary interpretation of the Beatles era. Once you’ve noshed on Las Vegas’ finest cuisine and sipped drinks like the Beatles, don’t forget to catch some laughs as Daniel Tosh lights up the Mirage stage, leaving his audience begging for more!
