| Get ready for a night of hilarious improvisational comedy as Drew Carey and his Improv All Stars make their way to Terry Fator Theatre inside Las Vegas’ Mirage for two very special performances. You might have seen Drew Carey in some of his many TV appearances and bit parts in movies like Coneheads, but you’ll love his standup act! The Terry Fator Theatre is a great and appropriate venue for a comedic performance—it was named after ventriloquist Terry Fator, the winner of season 2 of America’s Got Talent. Carey began his career in the 1980’s as an MC at the Cleveland Comedy Club. An appearance on the show Star Search leads to opportunities which had Carey performing on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Carey impressed Carson so much that he was invited to sit on the couch next to the comedy legend himself; a very rare privilege. Letterman was next on Carey’s comedy tour as he slowly began to make a name for himself and become popular in the comedy circles. His first HBO stand up special, Drew Carey: Human Cartoon, won Carey a CableACE Award for Best Writing and cemented his place in the comedy world. America got to love Drew thanks to The Drew Carey Show and the fan favorite Whose Line Is It Anyway? which also helped launch the career of Wayne Brady. Drew has since hosted The Price is Right and participated in a number of charity efforts while moonlighting as an author and sports photographer. Now you can see the comedy favorite live and in person yourself this August! Drew will begin his show with scripted standup that will leave the crowd in stitches. His standup act is definitely not for children, so this comedy show is adults only! Afterwards, Drew will be joined by fellow comedians Kathy Kinney, Ryan Stiles, Chip Esten, Jeff Davis, Sean Masterson and Julie Larson for a round of improv backed up by Laura Hall on piano for a bit of music. Make sure you catch these comedy all-stars for two nights of unforgettable laughs. |
