The entire family will be amazed by this incredible show imported straight from Moscow, Russia. The Riviera Hotel and Casino is the Las Vegas hotel playing host to this incredible circus on ice brought to you by Sergey Ryshkoff’s Moscow Ice Circus. Have a seat inside the intimate theater and let the large ice rink cool you from the hot Vegas sun as you prepare for a show unlike anything you’ve ever seen! Performers will delight you in various scenes combining the best of figure skating and circus acrobatics into one beautiful, action-packed performance children and adults can enjoy. ICE: Direct from Russia is one of the few shows in Las Vegas that has something for guests of every age. Your children will be delighted by the show’s comedy acts and they will marvel at jugglers and unicyclists performing their acts across the cool ice rink. All of the wonderful skaters and performers execute their moves with graceful elegance. In one number, a man and woman perform a pairs skating routine in gorgeous white costumes, gliding along the ice as they appear to fly kites right inside the theatre. These kites slowly lower to the ground and become the skater’s wings, adding on to the gliding and flying appearance these skaters demonstrate. But this show isn’t about tradition, it’s about innovation! Starting off in traditional Russian costumes, the skaters shed those heavy layers for sexy costumes in ice dancing numbers set to music from legendary musicians like Janis Joplin, Pink Floyd and James Brown. The hula-hoop number to Joplin’s “Summertime” is a crowd favorite—see if you can count how many hula hoops the woman can tackle at once! ICE: Direct from Russia was choreographed and adapted from the original circus act by Emmy award-winner Debra Brown. The incredible feats these performers pull off while on the ice will blow you away! Audiences will especially love the show’s final number. We promise you’ll be up on your feet dancing and clapping along with the talented Russian performers! ICE: Direct from Russia plays Saturday – Thursday at 8 pm at the Riviera. Make sure you check one of the most unique shows Vegas has to offer! |
