Referred to as the reigning King of Comedy, Kevin James is one of the top males in comedy today! Now, Las Vegas visitors will get their very own showing of Kevin James LIVE on stage at the Mirage Las Vegas!

Born April 26, 1965, Kevin James grew up in the suburbs of New York. Immediately after his teen years, Kevin went on to attend Cortland University where he played fullback on the football and team and majored in Sports Management. After a few years at school, Kevin realized that school and the career path he was on was not for him. So, James went home and joined a local community theater group. During one of his first plays, he played a comedic role and loved the crowd’s reaction to his humor. James never looked back from that role and continued-on in hopes of gaining a life in the spotlight as a comedian.

After 11 years of stand-up comedy, Kevin James was discovered by his now close friend and fellow comedian Ray Romano. Romano urged him to join Star Search, and James went on to land a spot on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Romano admired his comedic work and asked him to join his show, “Everybody Loves Raymond.” “Everybody Loves Raymond” launched Kevin into the spotlight and landed him his very own show, “King of Queens.” The hit show lasted from 1998 – 2007, when James then went on to star in hit blockbuster films, such as Hitch, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, and Paul Blart: Mall Cop.
