| The world famous master magician is now a permanent resident at the Monte Carlo hotel and casino. The theater itself is as amazing as the act. Lance Burton helped design the theater to look like a Parisian opera house. The theater has plush seating and is extremely comfortable. The theater also adds to the spectacle in that Burton now has all the ingredients he needs for some truly amazing illusions. This show is filled with wonder and amazement. Lance Burton is a master at his craft and he is truly the best magician in Las Vegas. His illusions are inventive and unique. His show isn’t just a round of your typical tricks like sawing a girl in half or making things disappear. He likes to start his show by showing a clip of a dangerous stunt that he performed once and was almost killed. In the clip, you see Burton tied to a roller coaster track. In true magician style, he is wearing a straight jacket and he is shackled to the track, right as the car is winding the corner. He explains to the audience that it was not smart for him to perform this trick and that he was almost killed. Although, his life is not in any real danger during the stage production, the video clip sets the mood for a mysterious night. Lance Burton’s traditional act focuses mainly on sleight-of-hand tricks and he incorporates a lot of these into his Las Vegas show. This one hour and 30 minute production is spiced up with assistants, a band, and even a few dancers. This is also a great Las Vegas show to take your kids too. None of the magic is scary and Lance Burton keeps the energy going at all times so it can be enjoyed by families as well. What makes this show so believable is Lance Burton’s charming stage presence. He makes everything look so easy; it’s not hard to see that he is a seasoned magician and he will be around for years to come. Lance Burton is a must see! |
