Cirque du Soleil’s newest show, Viva ELVIS, is a celebration of the life of Elvis Presley, the King of Rock and Roll. Combining the beautiful costumes and stage settings of the Cirque du Soleil Company with re-mastered versions of Presley’s greatest song hits, Viva ELVIS will have you reliving the most important moments in Elvis’ career live and on stage at the Aria Theatre. The Aria Theatre is part of the Aria Resort and Casino, located at the incredible new CityCenter, the world-class dining, entertainment and hotel complex that will change the Strip forever with its architectural and technological innovations.

Elvis changed history with his breakthrough performances of songs like “Heartbreak Hotel” and “Hound Dog.” He revolutionized American music and brought thousands of women to hysterics over his looks and his dancing, which were deemed too sexy for the 1950’s. Some people said Elvis’ music would bring down society, but he became a legend in the music world. Call him Elvis, or just call him the King, either way everyone around the world will know who you’re talking about—but only Cirque du Soleil can tell his story like never before!

Expect to see wonderful dancing and choreography to highlight the musical aspects of the show. Cirque du Soleil has also cast an incredible actor to portray Elvis. What makes Viva ELVIS different from other Cirque du Soleil shows is the fact that there will be some acting incorporated into the program.
