At 13,037 square feet, the spa at Monte Carlo is certainly not one of the largest Las Vegas spas. Don’t let that dissuade you, though. The recently renovated spa is comfortable and has a peaceful but exotic feel to it, with muted colors and subtle lighting. Some of the furnishings include stone from India, marble from China, porcelain from Italy, ceramics from Indonesia, and granite from Saudi Arabia. The spa features two facial rooms, five massage rooms for women, three massage rooms for men, and a hydrotherapy room, as well as a steam room, sauna, and hot and cold whirlpools inside the separate men’s and women’s areas. There’s also a well-equipped fitness room with ellipticals, treadmills, bikes, strength machines, free weights, and more.
The Spa at Monte Carlo offers facials, massages, and body wraps, all designed to beautify, relax, or provide a one-of-a-kind indulgence. The European Escape is a treat for the entire body, not just the face; feet and hands are caressed by electric booties and mittens while the face is cleansed, exfoliated, masked, toned, and moisturized. The treatment is capped with a defining eye cream and gentle shoulder, neck, and face massage. Or try the Champagne & Caviar facial, which makes you feel like a star while your skin is hydro-lifted and rejuvenated.
The Body treatments are winners as well; scrubs feature nurturing and awakening ingredients like honey butter and mineral sea salt, while body wraps hydrate, firm, and smooth skin back to health. For skin that’s had a little too much of the Las Vegas sun, try the Sweet Sensation, a treatment with restorative and moisturizing milk and honey. And to cap off your day at the spa and whisk any lingering stress or worries away, try the Nature’s Essence Massage, which combines aromatherapy and Swedish massage techniques for a massage that’s as relaxing as it is renewing.
The spa also offers add-ons such as collagen sheets and enzyme peels to give skin an added boost of youth and vitality. You might not need them, however; a day at the Spa at Monte Carlo will make you so carefree that you’ll feel years younger.
