For an intimate and peaceful spa experience, the Palms Spa is an oasis of serenity minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. Though a little smaller than other major Vegas spas, the Palms Spa is quiet and not as crowded, equipped with expert professionals (their masseuses are particularly talented), and beautifully decorated. Bathed in sunlight, the spa uses touches of nature to create an understated sense of class and tranquility, with hemp-woven deck chairs, blond wood, and orchids scattered throughout the facility.

The 20,000 square-foot spa features a sauna, steam, deluge, whirlpool, cold plunge, Swiss shower, and private lockers. There is also a state-of-the-art fitness center for those who like to de-stress by working out, complete with cardio equipment, free weights, circuit training, and TVs with private headphones.

The Palms Spa offers body treatments (including a selection of treatments using Pure products), facials using Epicuren and Arcona products, massages, waxing, and Aura Soma treatments (metaphysical color therapy treatments only offered at select spas).  Among the services offered, the body treatments are certainly a favorite, especially the Shea Butter Body Buff, which uses 100% organic ingredients. The Buff exfoliates dead, dry skin away with fruit acids, grape seed oil, and vitamins and antioxidants. Then, Pure Blood Orange Shea Body Butter is melted and applied to the body. For a great follow-up, try the Palms Signature Facial, a non-surgical face-lift that improves overall skin health.

The massages, however, are what keep spa lovers coming back to the Palms for more. The masseuses are quite skilled and specialize in non-traditional massage techniques.  Try the Ashiatsu Massage, in which the masseuse uses their feet to work your muscles while balancing on bars suspended from the ceiling, or the Table Thai Massage, a unique therapy that uses gentle pulling, pushing, and kneading of the muscles in rocking and rhythmic compressions. And if you really want to try something unique, experiment with the Aura Soma Color Massage, in which you receive a specialized reading and massage based on which colored bottles of oil you choose.
