The Royal Treatment Spa, located at Excalibur, is very aptly named, as it is the spa’s objective to make its guests feel like royalty. The 13,000-square-foot spa includes a redwood sauna, a eucalyptus steam room, heated whirlpool, relaxation lounge, shower facilities, and a state-of-the-art fitness center. Men and women each have their own spa and enjoy separate treatment rooms that feature heated beds for extra-comfortable massages.
Royal Treatment offers all the services you would expect from a resort spa, such as facials, body wraps, body treatments, and massages. Some of the favorites include the Aromatherapy Wrap, in which oils are applied to your body before you are wrapped in warm linens from neck to toe, and the Swedish Massage, a traditional muscle massage using light to medium pressure and unscented natural oils.
Royal Treatment, unlike many spas, offers full body tanning. The tanning bed even has a flat TV screen embedded in it, so guests can relax and be entertained while they’re given a healthy new glow. The spa also uses Aveda products for many of their services; one of the spa’s signature treatments is the Aveda Self-Renewal Facial, in which Aveda skin care products are used to cleanse, tone, exfoliate, and moisturize.
The Spa also has shower facilities and vanity stations, so that once you’ve completed your day of relaxation and indulgence, you can get ready for a night out on the town right at the spa. And for a spa in Las Vegas, the prices are very reasonable; the packages especially (which include a massage, facial, and wrap of your choice) are a great deal. Best yet, you don’t have to be a guest of the resort to enjoy the spa, its fitness center, and the adjacent salon. Multi-day passes are also available, and with good reason – you’ll want to come back again and again to this classic, well-rounded, and rejuvenating haven.
