The Hoover Dam is a must see spot on any Las Vegas vacation. However, travelers don’t have to spend the entire day to go see it. The Hoover Dam Mini Tour offers morning and afternoon tours that travel to this famous site. Take a trip to the Dam on a comfortable motor coach. The Hoover Dam is located just 30 miles southeast of the Las Vegas Strip. Once guests arrive they will have time to enjoy Lake Mead and the magnificent Hoover Dam which was built in 1935 to hold back the Colorado River. This tour does not include an elevator ride to the observation platform. Because of security reasons, no bags of any kind are allowed in the visitor’s center. However, guests are permitted to bring their cameras only. There are no diaper changing facilities on the bus so children in diapers cannot be accommodated. Children ages 5+ welcome. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
