| Acres of red sandstone peaks and beautiful desert await you on the Pink Jeep Tours Red Rock Canyon tour. Hop aboard a pink Jeep and head away from the casinos and clubs into a nature adventure you won’t soon forget. The Red Rock Canyon, a National Conservation Area, is an oasis from the hectic city and fun for the whole family—children as young as 1.5 can come along under parental supervision! From your Las Vegas hotel, the famous “Pink Jeep” will pick you up and head out into the Nevada desert on a 13-mile scenic drive to the canyon. If any of your surroundings look familiar, you might have seen them in the movies! Because of its natural beauty, the canyon has often been used in movie backdrops and featured in famous photographs. Once you arrive at the canyon you’ll have a chance to see incredible panoramic views and a kaleidoscope of desert trees and animals. From the Desert Tortoise and rabbits to Utah juniper and Joshua trees, you’re sure to see plenty of things worthy of a snapshot—so bring lots of film! If you’re worried about the heat, the people of Pink Jeep have plenty of ice water on hand and their vehicles are fully air-conditioned. The only time you’re out in the heat is while you’re taking photographs and exploring. You and your guests will even get to stop by the visitor’s center to learn more about the Red Rock Canyon and the history surrounding it. Visit various exhibits, a tortoise habitat and the gift shop for souvenirs to take home. Afterwards, your tour guide will take you for a bit of off-roading on the Rocky Gap Road for a chance to see more wildlife and Native American pictographs before returning to your Las Vegas Hotel. The Red Rock Canyon tour lasts for 4 fun-filled hours with two pick up times from various hotels. Tours begin to depart at 7:00 am and 12:00 pm. |
