Ready, Set, Launch

Nicky Hilton, Kourtney Kardashian, Baron Davis, Courtenay Semel, Rachel Smith, and Rasheda Ali all came out to SushiSamba on August 19 to celebrate the official launch party for yours truly, BestofVegas.com! The red carpet was abuzz with celebrities trying to get into one of the hottest parties of the night on the Strip, at the new Palazzo Hotel and Casino. The paparazzi lined up to get a glimpse of the stars as they entered the brand new Sugarcane Lounge at Sushi Samba.

Immediately upon entering the Sugarcane Lounge, guests noticed the sheer beauty of this new Las Vegas hot spot. Japanese artwork and bright colors accented hanging lanterns and other fun and colorful décor that just so happened to match the trademark colors of BestofVegas (red and black). As industry professionals arrived, everyone chatted about what drama might ensue between Nicky Hilton and Kourtney Kardashian, whose sisters have recently been feuding over who is the biggest “celebutant." Lotus Vodka and Montecristo Rum sponsored the event and provided some delicious cocktails to get the night rolling. Nicky Hilton was the first celebrity to arrive and snuck in as quietly as possible wearing a navy and tan print wrap dress with a matching tie waste band from her own signature line. She also sported black patent peep-toe heels with red soles. Shortly after her arrival, gal pals Kourtney Kardashian and Courtenay Semel walked down the red carpet dressed to impress followed closely by the Keeping up with the Kardashians film crew. Kourtney K. wore a black lace jumper with gold lining and gold chain belt, while Courtenay S. wore a sequined gold backless dress that hugged her in all the right places. NBA all-star Baron Davis was the most shocking in his jeans, t-shirt, vest, pink sneakers, and walking cane. He definitely made a statement. Rachel Smith was dressed simply in a strapless black satin dress that perfectly complimented her bronze skin and adorable wavy locks.

As the party got underway, the drinks were flowing, the music was pumping, and everyone was mixing and mingling as if they had all been friends for years. Everyone from bloggers, to insiders, to some of BestofVegas’ most respected partners turned out for the event. Appetizers and hors d’oeuvres included crab cakes, nigiri, sushi rolls, spicy beef kabobs, kobe sliders, and much more! Bottle service was the theme of the night as bottles of Lotus and Montecristo seemed to disappear before the waitress could even set them in the ice buckets. Another highlight of the evening, were the beautiful go-go dancers shaking their stuff on top of speakers near the dance floor and encouraging others to join in. No one seemed to be shy at this party as everyone stepped up and showed off their moves as the DJ played mostly dance music with a little bit of hip-hop thrown into the mix to keep everyone moving. After a few hours of dancing, mingling, and plenty of drinking, it was time for the presentation of the evening. Jon Kelley, host of ABC’s The Mole stepped up to the microphone to thank everyone for coming out. Entertainment Benefits Group, Inc. CEO Brett Reizen made a short speech and talked about his vision for BestofVegas and how it will become the best Las Vegas travel site on the web. Speeches were quickly followed by a video presentation that really had guests surprised by the progress that BestofVegas has made thus far. The video included celebrity endorsements from David Hasselhoff, Tom Arnold, Eli Manning, and Zac Efron. Entertainment Benefits Group, Inc. the parent company of BestofVegas is already one of the leading online travel reservation agencies in the United States, reaching over 20 million visitors via the internet. Now with the official launch of BestofVegas, this travel company promises to offer the best shows, the best tours, the best prices, and even some of the best parties!
