It was another busy celebrity weekend in The Entertainment Capital of the World as stars hit the Strip for birthdays, hosting duties and performances, not to mention the stars that were in town for NASCAR Weekend at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. In case you missed it, here’s a quick celebrity roundup of who spent their weekend playing in Sin City:
Pure at Caesars Palace welcomed actress Laura Prepon a.k.a. Donna Pinciotti from “That’s 70’s Show” and star of the new NBC sitcom “Are You There Chelsea” as she celebrated her 32nd birthday on Friday night.
The TV star kicked off her birthday celebration with dinner at Social House at CityCenter’s Crystals with 15 of her closest friends before heading to the nightclub where she posed on the red carpet.
After walking the red carpet, Prepon and her group took over a VIP booth in the nightclub, where she instantly began signing autographs and posing for photographs with her fans. The Las Vegas nightclub celebrated Prepon’s birthday with confetti as it rained down from the ceiling while DJ Eric D-Lux wished the birthday girl “Happy Birthday.” She was then presented with a cake in the shape of a UFC octagon topped with poker playing cards and dice, two of her favorite things.
Over at Gallery Nightclub in Planet Hollywood actor and cutie Jesse Metcalfe, star of the upcoming TV remake of “Dallas, “ “Desperate Housewives” and “John Tucker Must Die” hosted a party on Saturday night to celebrate his new TV role.
Metcalfe arrived at the Las Vegas nightclub with his fiancé Cara Santana, where they made their way to a VIP table and joined a group of friends. Metcalfe posed for photographs with fans and spent much of the night hugging and kissing his bride-to-be.
Before his hosting duties at Gallery, Metcalfe and Cara dined at Sugar Factory American Brasserie in the Paris and then satisfied their sweet tooth at the retail store with Sugar Factory’s signature Couture Pops.
On Friday night, Taboo from The Black Eyed Peas rocked the crowd at Rain Nightclub inside the Palms while Kreayshawn with DJ Ross One rapped at Tao in the Venetian. The pint-sized rapper took the stage around 1 a.m. with an impromptu performance of her hit single “Gucci Gucci” as the crowd cheered her on.
All night long, Kreayshawn snapped photos with fans and even took some pictures of her own when Tao’s signature Bottle Fairy came flying by her table.
As always, I can’t fit all of my celebrity news into one blog so make sure you check back tomorrow for more of this weekend’s celebrities including who was in town for NASCAR Weekend. I’ll see you then!
