Clooney Gets Lucky in Vegas
Las Vegas regular George Clooney has found luck more places than just at the card tables. Clooney recently split from a year-long relationship with ex-cocktail waitress Sarah Larson who worked at Moon and Ghostbar at the Palms Casino Resort. Larson met Clooney while working an after-party that Clooney was attending. This is the second time Clooney has dated a working Las Vegas local. A few years back Clooney was dating an ex-Spearmint Rhino dancer (guess where they met).  It seems the infamously anti-monogamous Clooney finds love in the very same place most people only find sin—Las Vegas.

In late 2006, after wrapping Ocean’s 13, Clooney visited gentleman’s club Spearmint Rhino with a group of friends and even a few co-stars. Witnesses said they saw strippers crowding the group for attention. However, only one girl caught his eye. He invited British dancer and single mom Sarah Talley into the VIP room and supposedly the two hit it off. For the next four months they spoke almost daily. He flew her to his home by private jet several times and showered her with gifts. The relationship ended, however; as abruptly as it started, without much of an explanation. Clooney then moved on to Sarah Larson, it seems Clooney has decided to get slightly more serious with Larson and after more than 6 months together (Clooney’s longest relationship in years) the two even decided to move in together.

Their relationship received tons of media attention after they received minor injuries in a motorcycle accident together. Paparazzi swarmed to take pictures of the bruised and broken couple as they attended film festivals in Italy. It was reported that shortly after their trip; Larson sent a text message to old boss, Chris Bruno saying that she wasn’t going to be able to make it back to work anytime soon.

George Clooney is a long time Las Vegas favorite. He even invested some money in a new hotel and casino that was supposed to be built a few years back. However, the project never took off.  Clooney first fell in love with Vegas after filming Ocean’s 11 on location here. He returned to Vegas to film Ocean’s 13 and has been spotted at nightclubs and card tables all over town. He’s especially fond of the Palms Casino Resort (a usual celebrity favorite) mainly because this is where the premiere of Ocean’s 13 was held. Clooney is also good friends with Matt Damon, a fellow gambler who is equally fond of Sin City.

Clooney doesn’t just come here to find his next wife, though. He’s also a golf-lover and not that bad of a player. He has been spotted at several courses around town. It’s been reported that his favorite is Shadow Creek in North Las Vegas. He has been spotted there playing a few rounds with friend, Matt Damon.

However with his love for gambling and world-class golf, it looks like Clooney will continue to make appearances on the Strip no matter who he’s dating; because when it comes down to it, we all know that Clooney has only one true love—sweet, Lady Luck!
