Do you love Country Western music and are out in Vegas looking to have a rip roaring good time? Well there are plenty of day and nighttime activities available that will satisfy any cowboy.
There’s no way to feel like you’re living the Wild West lifestyle than by playing a good round of poker. However, if you’re not a betting man there’s plenty of other things to do in Las Vegas that will make you feel right at home. A good option is to take a tour of some of the places where the first cowboys once lived. The Wild West Sunset Dinner BBQ will have you feeling like you stepped back in time. As the sun sets you’ll make your way to the Spring Mountain Sagebrush Ranch where you’ll gather around a campfire for dinner. A dinner, big enough to please any cowboy, will be served under the stars. Enjoy the peacefulness of the desert at this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Dinner includes your choice of Steak or Chicken, baked potato, tossed greens salad, corn on the cob, dessert, and beverage. After dinner, enjoy the stories of a Paiute tribe member as they tell all about the history of their tribe and the surrounding desert.
Looking for a good place to enjoy some Country music? Then head over to Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill. The bar and grill is always serving delicious down home food like Toby Keith’s favorite bologna sandwiches and delicious signature drinks. There are often live Country bands performing on stage and like in any western bar, there are no rules and dancing is highly encouraged. So get loud, stomp your feet, and listen to some of the best music in town. Toby Keith, himself, loves to stop by every time he’s in town. Also, don’t be surprised if your lemonade comes served in a mason jar just the way mama used to make it.
The mother of all Country Western bars is located at the south end of the Strip. Stoney’s Rockin Country is the biggest and best country bar in town. They have a huge dance floor perfect for line dancing, a mechanical bull, and even a bowling alley all in one gigantic saloon. Stoney’s also offers some of the best drinks specials. All-you-can-drink drafts are available on certain nights and jeans and cowboy hats are more than welcome. Unlike other clubs in Vegas, Stoney’s is neither hip nor chic. This bar is as down-to-earth as they come and this can be really refreshing considering the other options for nightlife in Vegas most likely include the word “ultra” in the title.
Located right on the Strip at New York New York Hotel is the famous Coyote Ugly. However, don’t come here to just relax and have a drink at the end of a long day because the people in this bar are here to party. The girls dance on the bar and tease customers that dare to get close. Women are encouraged to leave their bras pinned on the walls, however; this is truly a man’s paradise: lots of girls and not a lot of fuss. This bar doesn’t even serve cocktails. Only whiskey and beer! People in this bar are here to drink and things tend to get a little rowdy so make sure you’re up for that before heading to this watering hole. The girls will encourage everyone to drink as they sing, dance, and they might even pour a shot or two right into your mouth. What more could a cowboy ask for?!
