Criss Angel Debuts Magic Network

Criss Angel is an unstoppable force. With two successful shows under his wing (Mindfreak on A&E and Cirque du Soleils’s Believe at the Luxor) and title of Magician of the Century, the illusionist is adding one more thing to his already impressive resume; his Magic Broadcasting Network.

And as if he didn’t already have his hands full, the Believe magician also is juggling negotiations about the next Mindfreak season. Not to mention recent changes to his hit Las Vegas show!

The website features magic 24/7 and includes the world’s largest magic store. You even get the chance to sign into the Mindfreak Magic Academy and compete in the search for the next Mindfreak to appear onstage with Criss at the Luxor Theater. On the premiere episodes of the new shows, you’ll see David Hasselhoff, Flavor Flav, Ke$ha and Robin Leach.

“It has something to offer everyone and is unique to anything else one would find on the Web,” Criss said in an interview.

The launch party for Criss’ new website was held at Bare Pool Lounge at the Mirage. Strip stars and worldwide magicians including Siegfried Fischbacher, Lance Burton and Jeff McBride attended the festivities. I’ll have more details on the launch party tomorrow so make sure you check back. In the meantime, don’t hesitate to see Criss Angel’s illusions in Believe. After watching the incredible show, you’ll understand why he was awarded Magician of the Century! You can find tickets right here on BestofVegas.com starting at just $105.

In other Las Vegas news, the sexy men of Chippendales at the Rio will be featured in a segment on Entertainment Tonight’s “The Insider” which will air tonight. ET will feature a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the new Chippendales calendar, which was photographed last week at the Caesars Palace, Rio and Flamingo pools. To see the dreamy men live and in person, check out Chippendales’ tickets right here on BestofVegas.com! Tickets start at just $52.

The all-star lineup of guests for the IHeartRadio Music Festival at MGM Grand Garden Arena on September 23 and 24 continues to grow. There are almost too many artists from pop, rap and country to name but here are a few names I know the crowd will be very pleased to see: Jay-Z, Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga.

More than 500 worldwide travel and hospitality executives have filled into the city for the annual five-day Virtuoso Travel Mart conference that started yesterday at the Bellagio. The conference is an exchange of ideas and to share technology to help boost travel and benefit clients.

That’s all the news I have for today but I’ll see you right back here tomorrow for more!
