Only a few months after the opening of her first restaurant in Los Angeles, Eva Longoria Parker has her sights set on Las Vegas for her newest entrepreneurial venture. Eva is currently looking for a spot on the Strip to open another branch of her restaurant. However, this time she wants to focus more on nightlife and less on the dining experience. Her L.A. restaurant Beso has been a huge hit with celebrities looking to get a taste of chef Todd English’s Mexican fusion creations. Beso’s lounge area, Kiss, has become so popular in L.A. that many diners are skipping the restaurant and heading straight to Kiss as their nightlife destination. Eva has long been a fan of Las Vegas nightlife and has always wanted to have a place of her own where her and her friends could relax. With the popularity of Kiss in L.A., now seems like the perfect time to open a Kiss in Las Vegas. There is no word yet of when or where her new nightspot will be located. However, sources claim that Eva has spent a lot of time in big hotels like Caesars Palace recently trying to find a spot for her new nightspot. The place will most likely be a lounge that will also serve Mexican dishes similar to Beso.

Eva Longoria has recently gone from small screen favorite to restaurateur. Eva plays Gabrielle Solis in the ABC series Desperate Housewives. Eva also models for several ad campaigns. Eva got her big break in show business when she landed her first television role on The Young and the Restless. However, she received much fame and notoriety after Desperate Housewives became an overnight success. Eva Longoria was even nominated for a Golden Globe for her work on Desperate Housewives. Eva married Spurs' point guard Tony Parker last July after a publicized engagement. The couple is often in the public eye. Eva has been noted for her charity work and has even founded her own charity Eva’s Heroes, which helps children who are developmentally disabled. She has also starred in several feature films including The Sentinel and Over Her Dead Body.

Although she is now one of Maxim’s Hot 100, Eva came from humble beginnings. Born on a farm in Corpus Christi, Texas, her family had little money growing up. She was also considered the ugly duckling among her three sisters. After college, she entered a talent contest in Los Angeles and she was signed by a local talent agent and her career took off. Eva always seems to be out and about in Las Vegas so it is not surprise that she chose the Strip for her next restaurant. She and her husband are often spotted partying at the latest clubs around town so opening her own is probably not a bad idea. As to when and where her new Beso/Kiss location will open, we will keep you posted.
