Halloween is over and Thanksgiving is still a few weeks away, but Las Vegas is already gearing up for New Year’s Eve. We all know New Year’s Eve is the party to end all parties. In one night the entire world gathers together to say goodbye to the old and welcome the new into their lives. It’s been a crazy 2009, hasn’t it? We’ve lost so many great stars like Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett and Patrick Swayze. The economy has left America down, but certainly not out, and we’ve got wild illnesses making everyone panic. There’s a lot of stress we need to shake off from this wild year, and the buzz is already circulating about which stars and celebs will be showing up in Sin City to welcome 2010 with open arms and lots of booze. The Pure Management Group, responsible for some of the best nightclubs and biggest parties in Las Vegas, announced some great parties coming up. So make sure you start planning your Las Vegas trip early, because hotels and clubs sell out fast for New Year’s Eve. If you’re a fan of the Black Eyed Peas you should definitely keep an eye out on the Luxor hotel. The Luxor is one of the most recognizable Las Vegas hotels thanks to its huge pyramid and their sphinx. On New Year’s Eve, the Black Eyed Peas will be hosting a party at LAX nightclub. Whether or not they perform will be a surprise, since they’re only scheduled to host—but how knows what will happen once the party gets going? One guy we know will be performing for sure is rapper 50 Cent. 50 will be at Pure night club in Caesars Palace performing a mini-set of his hit songs while DJ Marshall Barnes takes over for the rest of the night. Rapper Shwayze is supposed to host the Christian Audigier party at the Treasure Island hotel as well, and we’re sure fans will be hoping for a surprise performance from him as well. If you’re more into checking out parties than celebrities, you have plenty of options. We couldn’t possibly list them all, because nearly every Las Vegas nightclub will be doing something for New Year’s Eve. Over at the Fremont Street Experience you’ll be able to attend America’s Party New Year’s Eve and everyone on the Strip will be treated to fantastic fireworks to ring in the New Year. If you want to make sure you’ve got some food around to soak up all that alcohol you can check out the Hawaiian Tropic Zone’s “Drink ‘Till You Drop” New Year’s Eve party. Voted one of the Top 10 new restaurants in Vegas, the Hawaiian Tropic Zone has great food, the largest video wall in Vegas and hot cabaret dancers. They won’t be the first Las Vegas restaurant to host a New Year’s Eve party and they definitely won’t be the last. Check back with BestOfVegas.com for more New Year’s Eve party news.
