Dubbed “The World’s Most Infamous Party,” A Midsummer Night’s Dream-God’s and Goddesses—A Masquerade Lingerie Bacchanalia is back, but this time the party is moving from the Playboy Mansion to The Palms Pools & Bungalows this Saturday at 9 p.m. But perhaps the best news of all is that funny-lady, model and actress Jenny McCarthy will host this year’s spectacular event. McCarthy, who is currently residing in Las Vegas for the month while her house is being worked on and felt that, given her Playboy history and the fact that she’d be in Las Vegas for the 4th annual event, the opportunity to host would be the perfect excuse to “put the thigh-highs back on” and collect donations for Generation Rescue, the nonprofit autism organization she supports. Unfortunately for the former host of Singled Out she had no idea the party was god and goddess themed. “I’m so screwed,” McCarthy replied when asked if she had her costume yet. “I had no idea it was goddess themed. I just thought I could show up in my bra and underwear. I should just throw everyone and show up in some Hanes.” Go ahead, Jenny, wear those Hanes, underneath your costume of course otherwise you can’t get in. The dress code is really strict for this event. A costume or mask is required for admission. Guests are encouraged to dress in their finest bacchanalia attire. Revelers will party in a unique celestial scene featuring wild and mystique décor, fresh libations and entertainment only Hugh Hefner himself knows how to provide. The midsummer night sensation is so exclusive various elements have been created just for the event, including extensive pop creations, state-of-the-art lighting and roaming performing artists. As the night rages on make sure you check out The Palms nightclubs with the Palms All Access 4 in 1 Pass. This pass will get you into four of The Palms hottest nightclubs including Ghostbar, Rain, Moon, and the Playboy Club. Since A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a Playboy event, I imagine the Playboy Club will be filled with playmate after playmate along with Hollywood’s hottest celebrities, so make sure you at least poke your head into the steamy club. It’s sure to be a sight you won’t want to miss!
