Get ready to start your engines this weekend as the 2012 NASCAR Weekend speeds into the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Race fans can gather at the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign tonight at 6 p.m. for the NASCAR Hauler Parade. The Parade will move north 5 miles to the former Sahara, where the cars enter I-15 and finish their journey to Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Then it’s time for the races. The Stratosphere Pole Day will kick off the NASCAR Weekend on March 9 followed by Sam’s Town 300 on Saturday and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Kobalt Tools 400 at noon on Sunday.
