It’s another musical weekend in Las Vegas with concert after concert from some of the most popular artists around. Starting tonight, Lady Gaga will bring her flair to the MGM Grand Garden Arena in a sold-out concert featuring Semi Precious Weapons serving as her opening act. Gaga is sweeping the nation and Las Vegas with her music as both her concerts in December were also at capacity. If the hits “Just Dance,” “Poker Face,” “Paparazzi,” “Bad Romance,” and “Telephone” aren’t your style, there will be plenty of other concerts, bands and entertainment as the weekend rages on. Starting tonight, Oscar winners Three 6 Mafia, Gorilla Zoe, Ya Boy and Splitbreed n their Bud Light 21 Tour will perform at Planet Hollywood while Mickey Avalon plays for the Palms’ Ditch Fridays during the day. It’s a trifecta over at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel with Coheed and Cambria, Porcupine Tree and The Dear Hunter, while Los Lonely Boys rock poolside at the Hard Rock. If you’re more into old school musicians you can visit soul legend Al green at the Las Vega Hilton for two nights, and Blue Oyster Cult’s free concert at Fremont Street Experience. And if you’d rather laugh then sing Tim Allen will be debuting his standup at The Mirage while Bill Engvall will keep it redneck at Treasure Island, and David Spade will have you laughing at The Venetian. After you check out a concert or laugh with the best of Las Vegas comedians start the party with UFC studs Josh Koscheck, Josh Thomson and Phil Davis as they host the ultimate bachelor party for Jon Fitch at Tabu Ultra Lounge in MGM Grand. Lady Gaga’s DJ VH1 will be spinning at Jet in The Mirage and we’re curious to see if Gaga herself comes out to support him or hangs back at Planet Hollywood with Semi Precious Weapons. It’s another big music night on Saturday when Rush follows in Lady Gaga’s footsteps and performs at MGM Grand, Matchbox Twenty’s singer Rob Thomas will be at Red Rock Resort, Mya is in the bare Pool Lounge in the Mirage and Primus rocks The Joint in a surprise midnight concert. For a little country in your weekend, Blake Shelton shakes his “Hillbilly Bone” at The Orleans while Uncle Cracker smiles at the 2nd Annual Coyote Countryfest. Bob Saget will be sharing dirty jokes through Sunday at The Orleans so if you’re at the Orleans for Blake Shelton, you might as well stick around for your favorite Full House funnyman. Lost 80s Live at Mandalay Bay Beach offers the ultimate blast from the past with Animotion, Dramarama, A Flock of Seagulls and real Life. Stay tuned for next week’s celebrity news.
