Las Vegas celebrities are taking over the news this week as shows, concerts and of course rumors heat up the headlines. First up on the celebrity news list is Criss Angel and his newest episode of MindFreak on A&E. Criss, who appears nightly at the Luxor in Cirque du Soleil’s Believe, will try to escape from a small crate in which he will be shackled and locked. The scene will take place at Grand Canyon West’s Eagle Point. The crate will be hoisted over the edge of the canyon 4,000 feet above the Colorado River. Criss will be under somewhat of a time constraint as he has to escape the bonds and climb from the crate before it crashes from the river below. Criss plans on effortlessly escaping from the crate and has already planned a celebration party at Luxor in Liquidity Lounge for fans after his two live shows. Rumors came out of Florida yesterday that upcoming Las Vegas headliner Celine Dion was rushed to a Florida hospital due to complications with her pregnancy. The rumors are completely untrue and Celine has said that her pregnancy with twins is going very well. Everything is still on target for an early November pregnancy and she is still expected to move here in March to start rehearsals for her March 15 world premiere.
