Super Bowl weekend is typically one of the biggest of the year in Las Vegas. In fact, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority is projecting a total of 286,000 visitors to pour into The Entertainment Capital of the World for the big game this weekend. And where exactly will all of those people be going to watch the highly anticipated re-match of Eli Manning and Tom Brady? More than likely they’ll be hitting Las Vegas’ sports books for a little gambling and a whole lot of fun. Here are a few of my favorite places to watch and bet on Super Bowl XLVI: The Bellagio race and sports book is one of the most luxurious race and sports books in the world. Tucked into a corner of the upscale Las Vegas hotel, this sports book is much more intimate than others, offering top notch bar service, excellent views of the game and incredible seating. If you want to experience Super Bowl like you never have before, the Bellagio is the place to go. The “world’s first rock ‘n’ roll hotel and casino” Hard Rock Hotel is perfect for the music loving sports fan and is no doubt one of the most thrilling places to visit on the Strip. When you add in the hotel’s hip sports book you won’t want to leave the Hard Rock Hotel all weekend long. The Hard Rock Hotel sports book offers 60 seats, 28 plasma screens and a sports bar, which features a few gaming tables of its own making for an exciting place to watch the game. If you’ve ever been to Caesars Palace to watch a boxing match or football game you know how incredible the experience is. Hailed as the “Home of the Champions” Caesars Palace Race and Sports Book offers plenty of seats with individual TV monitors as well as several huge TV screens hung throughout the dark and atmospheric place. And after hosting some of the most famous events in sports history, including fights involving Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard and Marvin Hagler, Caesars Palace Race and Sports Book is the ultimate venue for Super Bowl XLVI. For the complete gaming experience head to MGM Grand where you’ll experience Vegas’ only skyboxes in the gigantic 5,300 square-foot venue. The race and sports book recently upgraded to 47 plasma big screens and even offers six electronic display boards. Each skybox range from 300 to 325 square-feet and can fit up to 10 guests, making it the ideal place to watch the game with friends and family. And remember, these hotels don’t just have great gaming capabilities they are also excellent places to stay during your Super Bowl XLVI visit.
